Busch Gardens Pages 19 and 20: Land of the Dragons

Dragon stickers and paper from kyliemdesigns.com. I made the rock paper from a texture picture. The black paper was a freebie from Jeanette Bollinger (StoneAccentStudios.com). The template was a freebie from Purple Tulip Designs. Wow! I just realized I made these pages totally for free! How cool!

Busch Gardens Pages 9 and 10

These pages are made with the Carnival Collection from ScrapGirls. Template used for this page is from Irene O'Neill.

I can't decide if I like this page better in yellow or blue. I'm leaning toward the yellow because it makes the photos pop off the page a little more. What do you think?

Busch Gardens Pages 5 and 6

All products by ScrapGirls except the template on the first page created by mreinhardt..

Busch Gardens Pages 3 and 4

Papers & embellishments from the ScrapGirls Refresh freebie kit.

Font is cuckoo. The word lizard is cut out of a crocodile paper using the horizontal type mask tool. I re-colored the crocodile paper that is designed by ShelleyRae for SBB. It was a National Scrapbook Day freebie.

I "Heart" the Ron Jon

This page was a little intimidating because I wanted to do one big picture to show how beautiful this new mural looks. Paper, ribbon, and embellishments from ScrapGirls. Fonts are Cambrian and Amazone BT. Heart was a freebie from ScrapGirls.

fun on the PLAY ground

I'm trying to finish up our Florida Vacation Album because we are planning to go again in April. This is one of the layouts from that album that, until today, I had not scrapped.

I have two layouts to do from 2006. This is one of them. Tomorrow I will start our 2008 trip to Tampa.

I also did a few traditional layouts with memorabilia today. I will put them on my other blog Heather Ann's Handiwork.

This layout was made with a template from Katie Pertiet from Designer Digitals (she is one of my favorite designers--I just like her style). The papers are from a Birthday Collab kit I got for free with purchase from Godigitalscrapbooking.com

Can I just say I love digiscrapping?

There are so many things to love about digital scrapbooking...the freebies, the fact that I can print a layout for $2.00, the lack of clutter, the fact that I can scrap with a beer in my hand and not worry about ruining that one perfect piece of paper.

As I start 2009, I am loving the fact that pages I scrapbooked last January and February for Jaden's 8x8 album can be tweaked and I can print them for her 12x12 album. As a result, I can move on to the dozens of photos I have from our Florida trip in March and Easter. Here's what I have so far for her 2008 album. A few of these layouts may look familiar because I've already completed them last year. All I have to do is print them for her album.

January Desktop

Oh, I almost forgot to share my January desktop. I usually would have used pics from January 2008 for this but the only snow pics I had were from December 2007. I think it turned out cute. Kudos again to the Shabby Princess.

Goodbye 2008

As I say goodbye to 2008, I'm happy to say that as of today, I'm all caught up with my 2007 pics. Here is the last of them I finished today. And the best part, I totally used freebies for everything. The only cost to me was the printing which is $1.99 at ScrapbooksPlease (and I used a 15% off coupon) plus shipping of course, but still much cheaper and easier than paper scrapbooking. Happy New Year!
